Know Lok Sabha election seats allocation for each state and its constituencies

India’s Lok Sabha, the lower house of Parliament, is made up of Members of Parliament (MPs) representing various states and union territories. The allocation of Lok Sabha seats for each state is based on the population, and the current distribution is as follows -

  1. Uttar Pradesh - 80 seats
  2. Maharashtra - 48 seats
  3. West Bengal - 42 seats
  4. Bihar - 40 seats
  5. Tamil Nadu - 38 seats
  6. Madhya Pradesh - 29 seats
  7. Karnataka - 28 seats
  8. Gujarat - 26 seats
  9. Rajasthan - 25 seats
  10. Andhra Pradesh - 25 seats
  11. Odisha - 21 seats
  12. Kerala - 20 seats
  13. Telangana - 17 seats
  14. Assam - 14 seats

Currently the total number of Lok Sabha seats is 543, and the allocation is subject to change based on the periodic delimitation exercise.
