ಕನಸುಗಳು ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೀಮಿತವಲ್ಲ. ಅವು ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ದಾರಿದೀಪಗಳು. ಆ ದಾರಿದೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ತೈಲವೆರೆದು ಭರವಸೆಯ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬೆಳಗುವ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಗುರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದೈವ ತಾಯಿ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸಾಧಕನ ಯಶೋಗಾಥೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ತಾಯಿಯ ನಿರಂತರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಶಿಖರ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಎತ್ತರದ್ದೇ ಇರಲಿ ಅದರ ಭದ್ರವಾದ ಬುನಾದಿ ತಾಯಿಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕನಸುಗಳು ನನಸಾದಾಗ ಸಿಗುವ ಕೀರ್ತಿಗಿಂತ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ತಾಯಿಯ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡುವ ಆನಂದಬಾಷ್ಪವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ. ತಾಯಿಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ, ಸಾಧನೆಯ ತೇರಿಗೆ ಚಾಲಕಶಕ್ತಿ.

ತಾಯಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಪಡೆದು ಸಾಧಕರಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೇರಬೇಕಾದರೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹವೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಡಿಪಾಯ. ತಾಯಿಯ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಬಾಲಕರನ್ನು ಜಗತ್ತು ನೆನೆಯುವಂತಹ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಸಾಧಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಸಾಧಕರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳು ನೋಡುವುದಾದರೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಡಿಲಲ್ಲೇ ಬೆಳೆದ ವಿಶ್ವಗುರು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು. ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗುವ ದೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಡಿಲೇ ಎಣ್ಣೆ. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಎಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸನ್ಯಾಸಿಯಲ್ಲ, ಅವರು ಭಾರತದ ಆತ್ಮದ ಘೋಷಣೆ, ಯುವಕರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆ, ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರತ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು. ಆ ಮಹಾನ್ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಅಡಿಪಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರು ಅಂದರೆ ತಾಯಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿದೇವಿ. ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನರೇಂದ್ರನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ರಾಮಾಯಣದ ಧೈರ್ಯ, ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ನೀತಿ, ಪುರಾಣಗಳ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮದ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ತಾಯಿ ಬಿತ್ತಿದರು. ಮಗನ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಬದಲಿಸುವ ಕನಸು ಕಂಡಾಗ, "ನನ್ನ ಮಗ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನೇ ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಾನೆ" ಎಂದು ಹೃದಯ ತುಂಬಿ ನಂಬಿದರು. ತಾಯಿಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಎಂದರೆ ಅದು ಬರೀ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಮಂತ್ರ. ಆ ಮಂತ್ರವೇ ನರೇಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಚಿಕಾಗೋದ ಸರ್ವಧರ್ಮ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ "ಸಹೋದರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರೇ" ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಕೂಗಿದಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿದೇವಿಯ ಲಾಲನೆಯ ಸಿಹಿ ಇತ್ತು. ತಾಯಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕಥೆಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾದವು. ತಾಯಿ ತುಂಬಿದ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ತಾಯಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಆ ದೀಪವೇ ಇಂದು ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ರಾಮೇಶ್ವರದ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅಲೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಬಡತನದ ಅಲೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಹೆಸರೇ ಡಾ. ಎ.ಪಿ.ಜೆ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ. ಅವರನ್ನು "ಮಿಸೈಲ್ ಮ್ಯಾನ್", "ಜನರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ" ಎಂದು ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರೆ ಆ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯ ಬುನಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ಒಬ್ಬ ತಾಯಿಯ ಕೈಯ ಊಟ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ. ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ಆಶಿಯಮ್ಮ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಿಕೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಕನಸಿಗೆ ಬೆಲೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿತ್ತು. ಮಗ ತಡರಾತ್ರಿ ಓದಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದರೂ, "ಹಸಿವಾಗಿದೆಯಾ ನನ್ನ ಕಂದ" ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಊಟ ಬಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. "ಮಗನೇ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ದುಡಿ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕನಸು ಕಾಣು" ಎಂಬ ಈ ಎರಡು ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ಕಲಾಂರಿಗೆ ಗೀತೋಪದೇಶವಾದವು. ಮಗ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗುವ ಕನಸು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ "ನೀನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಆಗುವೆ" ಎಂದು ತಾಯಿ ಎದೆತಟ್ಟಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಸ್ತ್ರವಾಯಿತು. ತಾಯಿ ಆಶಿಯಮ್ಮ ಬಡಿಸಿದ ಅನ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ಯಾಗವಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಎರಡೂ ಸೇರಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ರಾಮೇಶ್ವರದ ಒಂದು ಪುಟ್ಟ ಹುಡುಗ, ಭಾರತದ ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿಗೆ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ದೇಶದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಭವನದವರೆಗೆ ಏರಿದರು. ತಾಯಿ ತಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅನ್ನವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ. ಅದನ್ನು ಮಮತೆಯಿಂದ ಉಂಡು ಬೆಳೆದವರೇ ಜನರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಕಲಾಂ.

ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದವಿ ಸ್ವರಾಜ್ಯದ ಬೀಜ ಬಿತ್ತಿದ ಹೆಸರೇ ಛತ್ರಪತಿ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು. ಶೌರ್ಯದ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿದವರನ್ನು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ನೆನಪಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಮೆರುಗು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕೈ ಯಾರದ್ದು? ಅದು ಜೀಜಾಮಾತೆ ಜೀಜಾಬಾಯಿಯವರದು. "ಮಗನೇ ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡು. ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನದಿಂದ ಬದುಕು" - ಆ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಬೀಜವಾಗಿ ಮಗನ ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ಉಳಿಯಿತು. ಅದು ಬೆಳೆದು ಸ್ವರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮಹಾವೃಕ್ಷವಾಯಿತು. ತಾಯಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಶೌರ್ಯದ ಪಾಠವೇ ಶಿವಾಜಿಯನ್ನು ಮೊಘಲರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು. ತಾಯಿ ತುಂಬಿದ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನವೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿತು. ಜೀಜಾಮಾತೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಕೇವಲ ಕಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಧ್ಯೇಯ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಛತ್ರಪತಿ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಜೀಜಾಮಾತೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಜೀಜಾಮಾತೆಯ ಮಡಿಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ದರ್ಬಾರ್. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಕಂದನೇ ಛತ್ರಪತಿ. ತಾಯಿ ಕಲಿಸಿದ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನವೇ ಇಂದು ಕೋಟಿ ಕೋಟಿ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿನುಗುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು.

ಹಿರೇಮಗಳೂರಿನ ಹಸಿರು ಹೊಲಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಮೊದಲ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆ ತೆರೆದದ್ದು ಒಂದು ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಡಿಲಲ್ಲಿ. ಆ ತಾಯಿಯೇ ವೆಂಕಟಲಕ್ಷಮ್ಮ. ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯು ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಹೊತ್ತು ಲಾವಣಿ ಹಾಡಿ, ಜನಪದ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಕಥೆಯ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಹಂಬಲ ಇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು - "ನನ್ನ ಮಗ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ತರಬೇಕು" ಎಂದು. ಆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹಂಬಲವೇ ಬೀಜವಾಯಿತು. ಅದು ಬೆಳೆದು ಕಾವ್ಯದ ಮಹಾವೃಕ್ಷವಾಯಿತು. ತಾಯಿ ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡಿದ ಲಾವಣಿಯೇ ಮುಂದೆ "ಜಯ ಭಾರತ ಜನನಿಯ ತನುಜಾತೆ" ಎಂಬ ನಾಡಗೀತೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೋಟಿ ಕಂಠಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಳಗಿತು. ವೆಂಕಟಲಕ್ಷಮ್ಮ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಕೇವಲ ಕಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನ, ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವಪ್ರೀತಿ. ಅದೇ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕವಿ ಎಂಬ ಬಿರುದು ಪಡೆದು ಕನ್ನಡದ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಪತಾಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾರಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಗುವಿನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲೂ ತಾಯಿಯ ಭಾವನೆಗಳು ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತವೆ. ಆಕೆಯ ಮುನಿಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಹರಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಮತೆಯಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ತಾಯಿಯ ಅಂತರಾಳದ ಈ ಮೂರು ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಮಗುವಿನ ಜೀವನ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಅಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತಾಯಿಯೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದೈವ, ಆಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೇ ಜೀವನ್ಮುಖಿ.

Moda Kavida Vaathavarana directed by Simple Suni, is a moody psychological romance thriller set against the rain soaked hills of Karnataka. While praised for its atmospheric visuals and performances.  The story revolves around   two couples   who arrive at a scenic resort carrying emotional baggage. Central characters include   Cherish (Sheelam M Swamy)  , a psychologist and meme creator, and   Souparnika (Moksha Kushal)  , who fears a stalker is manipulating her life. What begins as a romance drama gradually shifts into a psychological suspense narrative  , with mysterious coincidences, unsettling digital intrusions, and emotional entanglements.   Themes of   compatibility, loneliness, childhood trauma, and modern fear   (surveillance, digital footprints) run through the film.  

Sheelam M Swamy promising debut, balancing charm with psychological intensity. Moksha Kushal strong performance as Souparnika, portraying vulnerability and fear.  Saathvikac onvincing as a practical software engineer caught in emotional webs. Rishi & Rekha S Prasad add depth in supporting roles. Simple Suni blends romance with psychological thrills. The screenplay introduces motifs like the   spider’s web   (symbolizing entanglement) and references to   mythology (Yayathi’s story). Juda Sandy’s music   is soothing, complementing the monsoon setting.  Santosh Rai Pathaje’s cinematography   captures mist, rain, and hills beautifully, immersing viewers in a poetic atmosphere.

This movie shows that Relationships demand compatibility and empathy  , Love is not just passion but shared understanding.  Childhood loneliness shapes adulthood  , Trauma echoes in later relationships. Modern fear is invisible  , Surveillance and digital footprints can be more unsettling than physical threats.  Desires come at a price , Echoing the Yayathi myth, ambition and longing often carry hidden consequences.

Balaramana Dinagalu Kannada movie review , songs , trailer

Balaramana Dinagalu, directed by K.M. Chaitanya, is a gritty gangster drama set in 1980s Bengaluru. It revisits the underworld atmosphere of his cult classic  Aa Dinagalu  (2007), focusing on the rise and fall of Balarama, a village youth who becomes a feared don. The film is praised for its performances and psychological depth but criticized for melodrama and dated writing.  The story follows   Balarama (Vinod Prabhakar)  , an ordinary young man from rural Karnataka who is drawn into Bengaluru’s underworld. His journey parallels real life dons from the 1980s, with fictionalized names like   Jayaram (Ashish Vidyarthi)  ,   Shashidhar (Atul Kulkarni)  , and   Monnappa Rai (Ramesh Indira)  . The narrative explores   power struggles, loyalty, betrayal, and survival  , while reflecting the psychology of gangsters—men who commit heinous acts but also show empathy, urging youth toward education or helping the needy.  

Vinod Prabhakar  delivers a strong central performance, especially in the final act where Balarama struggles to escape the underworld’s trap.  Priya Anand  adds emotional balance as the female lead.  Atul Kulkarni, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sharath Lohitashwa, Ramesh Indira  reprise roles inspired by real dons, adding authenticity and nostalgia.  Ensemble cast strengthens the film’s world building, portraying politicians, policemen, and gangsters as part of one corrupt nexus.  K.M. Chaitanya   revisits the world of  Aa Dinagalu , blending realism with cinematic tropes.  The film succeeds in atmosphere and psychological exploration. Weapons—knives, razors, machetes, guns—are used symbolically, representing gangsters’ identities. Cinematography captures the   gritty streets of 1980s Bengaluru  , immersing viewers in the underworld setting.  

Movie shows us that Power is double edged  , Ambition can elevate but also trap individuals in cycles of violence.  Education as liberation  , Even gangsters acknowledge that knowledge is the true escape from crime.  Systems are complicit  , Politicians and police often enable crime, reminding viewers of systemic corruption.  Humanity persists in darkness , Even those in the underworld show empathy, proving morality is never entirely absent.

ನಮ್ಮ ಇಡೀ ಜೀವನದ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಬೇಕಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಕೇವಲ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ಸಾಕು. ಮಾನವನ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಯಾವುದೋ ಒಂದು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಜೀವನದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿ ತಿರುವು. ಇಂದೇ ಈಗಲೇ ಈ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಯತ್ತ ಮೊದಲ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯನ್ನು ಇಡಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುವ ಆ ಒಂದು ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಕ್ಷಣ ಬೇರೇನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ನೀವು ಈಗ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆಗಿರಬಹುದು. 

ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಾಧಕರ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಸೇಬಿನ ಹಣ್ಣು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ಸರ್ ಐಸಾಕ್ ನ್ಯೂಟನ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗುರುತ್ವಾಕರ್ಷಣೆಯ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿತು. ರೈಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕಹಿ ಕ್ಷಣ, ಮೋಹನದಾಸ್ ಕರಮಚಂದ್ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿಯವರನ್ನು ಮಹಾತ್ಮನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲು ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿತು. ಗೌತಮ ಬುದ್ಧನಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿ ವೃಕ್ಷದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನೋದಯವಾದದ್ದು ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಕೇವಲ ಕಾಲದ ತುಣುಕುಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಿಸಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು.

ಕಾಲ ಯಾರಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಕಾಲದ ಓಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಸದುಪಯೋಗ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿದವರು ಕೇವಲ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಬದುಕಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕನಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಆ ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರ ಕ್ಷಣ ಇದೇ ಆಗಿರಬಹುದು.

ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದ ಮಗು ಈ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ಮಾನವ ಜೀವನದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂಬತ್ತು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಕಾಲ ತಾಯಿಯ ಉಸಿರನ್ನೇ ತನ್ನ ಉಸಿರಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಜೀವವೊಂದು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಮಡಿಲಿಗೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುವ ಸಮಯವದು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತೇ ಒಂದು ಅಪೂರ್ವ ದೃಶ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಗು ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿ ಉಸಿರಾಡಿದಾಗ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಅಳು ಮಗುವಿನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಸಂಕೇತ. ಕತ್ತಲ ಕೋಣೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಈ ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಗಾಳಿ, ಬೆಳಕು ಅಪರಿಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಮಗುವಿನ ಆ ಅಳುವಿನ ಧ್ವನಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯ ತೀವ್ರ ಹೆರಿಗೆ ನೋವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟಿ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿದಂತಹ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮೂಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವಳ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಆನಂದ ಭಾಷ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. 

1947 ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 14 ರ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ 12 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಭಾರತವು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಕಪಿಮುಷ್ಠಿಯಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ದೇಶವಾಗಿ ಉದಯಿಸಿತು. ಇಡೀ ದೇಶವೇ ಕಾತರದಿಂದ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಯುಗದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನೂರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಗುಲಾಮಗಿರಿ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಿದಾನಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಮೋಡ ಸರಿದು, ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಬೆಳಕು ಮೂಡಿದ ಆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕ್ಷಣ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪುಟವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಕರೋನ ವೈರಸ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ದೇಶದ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆಘಾತಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಬಿತ್ತರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶವೇ ಒಂದು ನಿಮಿಷ ಸ್ತಬ್ದವಾಯಿತು. ಟಿವಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೀನಾ ಅಥವಾ ಇತರ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಹಾಮಾರಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಸತ್ಯ ಜೀರ್ಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ದೇಶದ ಜನರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಿಚಿತ ಭಯ, ಆತಂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿತು. ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯೂ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಜನರ ಬದುಕು ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೈನಂದಿನ ದಿನಚರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಭಾರತೀಯರ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮಾಸದ ಕಹಿ ನೆನಪಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ. ಅದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ವೈರಸ್ ಬಂದ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಿಸಿದ ಮಹಾವಿಪತ್ತಿನ ಆರಂಭದ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಯುವ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ನಮಗೆ ಜೀವನದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾವು ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಹಂಚಿದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ. ಆ ಕೊನೆಯ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪ ಪಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಬದುಕಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಾಳುವುದು ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆಯ ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಧ್ರುವತಾರೆ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಆರಾಧ್ಯ ದೈವ ಅಪ್ಪು ಡಾ.ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ಇಡೀ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನೇ ಕತ್ತಲಿಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿತು. 2021 ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 29 ರ ಆ ದಿನ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಯಾರೂ ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ಕರಾಳ ದಿನ. ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಗುತ್ತಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಹಂಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸದೃಢ ಕಾಯದ ನಟನಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಹೃದಯಾಘಾತವಾಯಿತು ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಬಿತ್ತರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಇಡೀ ರಾಜ್ಯವೇ ಸ್ತಬ್ಧವಾಯಿತು. ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಜಮಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕ ಮನೆಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆ ಏನೂ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಎದ್ದು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಆಶಾಭಾವನೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ವೈದ್ಯರು ಪುನೀತ್ ಇನ್ನಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ, ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಜನರ ಹೃದಯ ಒಡೆದು ಚೂರಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಇಡೀ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವೇ ಅನಾಥಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯಿಂದ ತತ್ತರಿಸಿತು. ಅಪ್ಪು ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿದ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದುಃಖದ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಆದರ್ಶಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಜನರ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಮರವಾಗಿಸಿವೆ.

ಆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ಇಡೀ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಜಯಘೋಷ ಮೊಳಗಿತು. ಅಭಿನವ್ ಬಿಂದ್ರಾ ಭಾರತದ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದರು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆ ಜನ ಗಣ ಮನ ಮೊಳಗಿದಾಗ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಭಾರತೀಯನ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಆನಂದಭಾಷ್ಪ ಹರಿಯಿತು. ಆ ಒಂದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕ್ಷಣ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಸಮಯ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರಳಿ ಬಾರದು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆ ಒಂದು ಧನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ, ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇ ನಿಜವಾದ ಜೀವನ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಬಂದೇ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತು, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಸ್ಮರಿಸೋಣ

ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಿರಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗುವಿನ ನಡುವಿನ ಬಂಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಟಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ರಕ್ತದ ಸಂಬಂಧವಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಆತ್ಮಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಅವಿನಾಭಾವ ಬೆಸುಗೆ.

ಕೆಲವು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಾದರೆ, ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿ ಅರಸ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣದೇವರಾಯ ಕೇವಲ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶೂರ ಯೋಧ ಅಥವಾ ದಕ್ಷ ಆಡಳಿತಗಾರ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಆತ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪರಮ ಮಾತೃಭಕ್ತ ಕೂಡ ಹೌದು. ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಭವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರೇಯಸಿಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಉಂಟು. ಆದರೆ, ಹೆತ್ತ ತಾಯಿಯ ನೆನಪು ಸದಾ ಹಸಿರಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಇಡೀ ಒಂದು ನಗರವನ್ನೇ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣದೇವರಾಯನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೃಷ್ಣದೇವರಾಯನ ತಾಯಿ ನಾಗಲಾಂಬಿಕೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ದೇವರಾಯನಿಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಗೌರವವಿತ್ತು. ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ ತೀರಿಕೊಂಡ ನಂತರ, ಅವರ ನೆನಪು ಅಜರಾಮರವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆಯ ಸಮೀಪ ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರ ನಗರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದನು. ಆ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ನಾಗಲಾಂಬಿಕೆ  ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಆ ಊರಿಗೆ 'ನಾಗಲಾಪುರ' ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು ಆ ಊರಿನ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುವಾಗ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ದೊರೆಯು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಿಡಿದ ಹೃದಯದ ಮಿಡಿತವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬಹುದು. ತಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಡೀ ಊರನ್ನೇ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೃಷ್ಣದೇವರಾಯ, ಇಂದಿನ ತಲೆಮಾರಿಗೂ ಮಾತೃಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

             ಮೊಘಲ್ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಬಾಬರ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಚಿರಪರಿಚಿತ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಇವರೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ನೆನಪು ಸದಾ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ಹೆಸರು ಇಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವರ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಮೊಘಲ್ ಬೇಗಂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಗಂ ಎಂಬ ಪದ ತೆಗೆದು ಆ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊಘಲ್ ಎಂದು ತಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ಆ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊಘಲ್  ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಇಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಬಾಬರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೆ. ಇಂದು ನಾವು ಮೊಘಲ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಓದುವಾಗ ಬಾಬರನ ಶೌರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಶೌರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಣೆ ಹಿಡಿದವರು ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಪುರುಷನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ತಾಯಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಬಾಬರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ. ತಾಯಿಯ ನೆನಪು ಬಾಬರನನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿನ ಹತಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ಸಾಮ್ರಾಟನನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿತು.

ಪುರಾಣಗಳ ಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಶುರಾಮ ಎಂದರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕಾಫ 
ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಉಗ್ರ ಕೋಪ. ಆದರೆ, ಆ ಕಠೋರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ಮಾತೃಭಕ್ತನಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ. ತಾಯಿಯ ಮುತ್ತೈದೆ ಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು (ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು) ತನ್ನ ದೃಢ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ತಂದೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದ ಪರಶುರಾಮನ ಕಥೆ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ. ಅಂದರೆ ಪರಶುರಾಮನು ಕೂಡ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಅತಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೀಗೆ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ತಂದೆ ಅಕಾಲಿಕ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ತೀರಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ, ತಾಯಿಯ ಹಣೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಂಕುಮ ಬಳೆ ಹೂವು ಇವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಾಗ, ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಶುರಾಮ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಂತರ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಅಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂಕುಮ, ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳೆ, ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂವು ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಇತ್ತು ಮುತ್ತೈದೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿ ಆದರೆ ಇವಾಗ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀಯಮ್ಮ ಎಂದು ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆಗ ತಾಯಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ತೀರಿಕೊಂಡ ಕಾರಣ ಅದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನಾನು ತೆಗೆದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಆಗ ಪರಶುರಾಮ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಮೊದಲು ಮುತ್ತೈದೆಯಾಗಿ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಇದ್ದಿ? ಆ ರೀತಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆಗ ತಾಯಿ ಒಂದು ಗಿಡ ಮೂಲಿಕೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಂದು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಜೀವ ಉಳಿಸಬಹುದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಆ ಕಾಲದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಿಡಮೂಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ತರುವುದು ಅಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಾಹಸ. ಪರಶುರಾಮ ಆ ದಿವ್ಯ ಮೂಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದು ಜಮದಗ್ನಿಗೆ ಮರುಜೀವ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಇದರ ಮೂಲಕ ರೇಣುಕಾದೇವಿಯ ಮುತ್ತೈದೆ ಭಾಗ್ಯವು ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಪವಾಡವಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗ ತನ್ನ ಹೆತ್ತವರಿಗಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸೇವೆ.

ಅಮ್ಮ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಮನೆ ಬರಿದು, ಅಮ್ಮ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಬದುಕು ಶೂನ್ಯ. ತಂದೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅನಾಥರು ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ತಾಯಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅನಾಥರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ.ಅಮ್ಮ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅಜರಾಮರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗ - ನಟ ವಿನೋದ್ ರಾಜ್. ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ವರನಟಿ ಡಾ. ಲೀಲಾವತಿ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ವಿನೋದ್ ರಾಜ್ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ದೇಗುಲ ಇವತ್ತು ತಾಯಿ-ಮಗನ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಜಗತ್ತೇ ನಮಿಸುವ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ. 2023ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 8ರಂದು ಹಿರಿಯ ನಟಿ ಲೀಲಾವತಿ ಇಹಲೋಕ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದರು. ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸೋಲದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಅವರ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ. ಅದೇ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ ವಿನೋದ್ ರಾಜ್ ಒಂದು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅಮ್ಮನಿಗೆ ದೇಗುಲ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕು. ಅಮ್ಮ ಸದಾ ಅಜರಾಮರವಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಇರುವ ದೇಗುಲ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಲೀಲಾವತಿ ಎಂಬ ತಾಯಿಯ 85 ವರ್ಷದ ಬದುಕಿನ ದರ್ಶನ. ಲೀಲಾವತಿ ಅವರು ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ತಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲ. ನಿಜ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲೂ ನೂರಾರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅಮ್ಮ. ತಮ್ಮ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು, ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಓದಿಸಿದರು. ಆ ಗುಣವನ್ನೇ ಮಗ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ತಾಯಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ದೇವರಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡದು ವಿನೋದ್ ರಾಜ್ "ತಾಯಿಯೇ ದೇವರು ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ". ದೇಗುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕೈಮುಗಿಯುವ ಮೊದಲು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ. 2024ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗ ತಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ದೇಗುಲ ಕಟ್ಟಿ "ಅಮ್ಮ ಅಜರಾಮರ" ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೆತ್ತ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ದೇಗುಲ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಗ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಆ ತಾಯಿ ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೂ ದೇವರಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಶ್ರವಣ ಕುಮಾರನು ಬಿದಿರಿನ ಬುಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿರುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅಮೋಘವಾದದ್ದು. ಜಿಜಾಬಾಯಿಯೂ ಛತ್ರಪತಿ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡಾನುದುರ್ಗ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಗೆದ್ದು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಶಿವಾಜಿಯು ಚಿಕ್ಕವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ತನ್ನ ಆಸೆಯನ್ನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತಾಯಿಯ ಆಸೆಯಂತೆ ಆ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು ತಂದು ತಾಯಿಯ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದವರು ಛತ್ರಪತಿ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು. ತಾಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪದವೇ ಅತ್ಯಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು. ತಬ್ಬಲಿಯಾಗುವ ಮುಂಚೆ ತಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಹೆತ್ತ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು.

Peter , directed by Sukesh Shetty, is a suspenseful crime drama set in the lush landscapes of Madikeri and Bhagamandala. It follows a troubled chende drummer returning to his hometown, where past conflicts tied to a temple festival unravel into a web of love, betrayal, and hidden violence. The film blends cultural themes of Karnataka and Kerala with a layered mystery. The protagonist Peter (Rajesh Dhruva), haunted by nightmares, returns from Kasargod to care for his ailing mother Mary (Prathima Nayak).  A flashback reveals his role in forming a team of chende players and his budding romance with Meera (Raviksha Shetty).  The narrative explores family bonds, love, jealousy, and betrayal, while keeping the identity of the antagonist hidden until the climax. The temple festival backdrop adds cultural depth and tension.  

Rajesh Dhruva, debuts as a hero, strong in emotional and romantic scenes but less convincing in action sequences. Raviksha Shetty, Fresh and lively as Meera, a carefree college student. Janvi Rayala , Commendable in a deglam role, adding realism.  Prathima Nayak , Steals the show with a powerful performance as Peter’s mother.  Supporting cast Radhakrishna Kumble, Raghu Pandeshwar, Ram Nadagoud provide solid contributions. Sukesh Shetty’s second film after Dooradarshana, praised for its unique script and suspenseful narrative. The screenplay maintains tension by concealing the villain’s identity until the end. Rithvik Muralidhar delivers lilting, atmospheric music that enhances suspense and emotional depth.   Cinematography by Guruprasad Narnad captures the misty beauty of Coorg, adding to the film’s haunting tone.  

Movie shows that Past conflicts shape the present, unresolved issues resurface, demanding courage to confront them.  Family bonds are central, caring for loved ones defines resilience. Symbolism temple rituals, astrology, charity serves as commentary on how faith can be manipulated.  Background music heightens suspense during confrontations and investigations.  

Movie shows that faith must be protected from exploitation , Blind belief can be weaponized by those in power.  Systems thrive on fear and control: Recognizing manipulation is the first step toward resistance.  Personal resilience matters, Vijay’s transformation shows how individuals can rise against systemic corruption.  Everyday lives are touched by politics, Even ordinary citizens are affected by hidden networks of power.

Kendada Seragu directed by Rocky Somli, is a bold adaptation of his own novel that explores women’s resilience against exploitation and circumstance. The story centers on Pavitra (Malashree), a police officer whose life is shaped by her mother’s struggles as a sex worker.  Bhoomi Shetty plays the younger Pavitra, tracing her journey from vulnerability to empowerment.  The narrative highlights women forced into sex work, their fight for dignity, and Pavitra’s eventual rise as an IPS officer. Subplots include characters like Ammu (Prathima Thakur) and Deepa (Sindhu Loknath), who bring different perspectives to the theme of survival and empowerment. Step 1 :   Get the ward number details . Open the website link https://bbmp.gov.in/KnowYourNewCorporation/index.html  , enter your locality in the map search option and collect details displayed on the right on the GBA ward number , name , city corporation , zone , office address and assembly constituency

 

Step 2 :  Download the voter list to search . Open the website link to  https://gba.karnataka.gov.in/electoral2026/ , select the corporation , ward and polling station . It will display 2 links to View Draft Electoral roll PDF and View Polling Station on Map. To view or download the voter list click on the link "View Draft Electoral roll PDF" . It will open up a PDF view of the voter list for that polling station with details on the areas covered , polling station details . Type Ctrl + F or Search option and search your name in the voter list and note the serial number . ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಬಂದಾಗ ಕನ್ನಡಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಥ್ ನೀಡಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ವಿಷಯ ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಕೊರಗಿಗಿಂತ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ನಾನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಸಾಕು ಎಂಬ ಛಲ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗೆಲುವಿನ ದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಜೀವನವೆಂಬ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಖವಿದ್ದಾಗ ನೂರಾರು ಜನ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕಷ್ಟದ ಕಾರ್ಮೋಡ ಕವಿದಾಗ ನೆರಳು ಸಹ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೂರ ಸರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ನಿಯಮ. ನಾವು ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತಿಯಾದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆಯೋ, ಅವರೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅರ್ಧ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಆಗುವ ನೋವು ಅಸಹನೀಯ. ಆದರೆ ನೆನಪಿಡಿ, ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜುವವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಕಾಲುಗಳೇ ಆಸರೆ ಹೊರತು ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ನೋಡುವವರ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆಯಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ನೋವಿನ ಆಳ ನಮಗೇ ಗೊತ್ತು, ಅದನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೇ ಇದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನೋವಲ್ಲ ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಸಂದರ್ಭ. ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಗೆದ್ದಾಗ ಸಿಗುವ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಕೋಟಿ ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಸಿಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಹೆಗಲು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಯುವುದು ದುರ್ಬಲತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣ. ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹಾಕುವುದಾದರೆ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಥವಾ ನಿಮ್ಮಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಹಾಕಿಬಿಡಿ. ಹೊರಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ಒರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಾನು ಗೆದ್ದೇ ತೀರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂಬ ಕಿಚ್ಚಿನಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗಿ. ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ಹೋಗುವುದು ಒಬ್ಬರೇ. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಧ್ಯದ ಈ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರ ಹಂಗೇಕೆ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೋವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಏಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಲಿ. ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇರಲಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಸದಾ ಇರಲಿ. ನೀವೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಸಾರಥಿ. ಒಂಟಿತನವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಲಿ.

ಬದುಕಿನ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮರೆತಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಭಾವನೆ ಕಾಡುವುದು ಸಹಜ. ಈ ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿತನ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಮೌನವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಒಳಗಿನ ಒಂದು ಭಾರವಾದ ಚೀರಾಟ. ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದು ಎಂದರೆ ಸೋತಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಯಾರೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೇರ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ನೋವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಜಗತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸದಿದ್ದಾಗ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇದು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಸಮಯ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮೊದಲು ನಿಮಗೇ ಮೀಸಲಿರಲಿ. ಬೇರೆಯವರು ನೀಡುವ ಬೆಲೆಗಿಂತ, ನಾವು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಗೌರವ ದೊಡ್ಡದು. ಇಂದು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅನಿಸಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ಕಾಲ ಉರುಳಿದಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಜೀವಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೇ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಂಟಿತನವನ್ನು ಏಕಾಂತವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕನಸುಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೌನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂದಿರನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ, ಆದರೂ ಅವನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನೀವು ಕೂಡ ಅಷ್ಟೇ, ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬೆಳಗಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ.

ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಯಾವ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಕಂಡರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಹಿಂಜರಿಯುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅಂತಹ ಸ್ಮಶಾನವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸನಾಥನಾದ ಶಿವನಿಗೆ ಪರಮ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ತಾಣ. ಜಗತ್ತು ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಅಶುಭ ಎಂದು ದೂರ ತಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆಯೋ, ಶಿವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸ್ಮಶಾನವು ಜೀವನದ ಪರಮ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ಜಾಗ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ-ಬಡವ, ಮೇಲು-ಕೀಳು ಎಂಬ ಭೇದವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೂದಿಯಾಗಲೇಬೇಕು. ಶಿವನು ಸ್ಮಶಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ, ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಅರಿವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಯಾರು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡದ ಬಿಲ್ವಪತ್ರೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದಂತೆ, ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಬೇಡವಾದ ಒಂಟಿತನವು ಸಾಧಕನಿಗೆ ವರವಾಗಬಲ್ಲದು. ಹೊರಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಗದ್ದಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬದಲು, ಒಂಟಿತನದ ಬಿಲ್ವಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅಂತರಂಗದ ಶಿವನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಶಾಂತಿ ಸಿಗುವುದು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ. ಎಕ್ಕೆ ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗವಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದರ ಹಾಲಿನ ಭಯಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸುಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಪ್ರಪಂಚವೇ ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ದೂರ ತಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆಯೋ, ಅದನ್ನು ಕೈಲಾಸನಾಥ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸುಗಂಧಭರಿತ ಹೂವುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಶಿವನಿಗೆ ಈ ಬಿಳಿ ಎಕ್ಕೆಯ ಹೂವುಗಳೆಂದರೆ ಅಚ್ಚುಮೆಚ್ಚು. ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿತನ ಅಂದರೆ ಬರಿ ಶೂನ್ಯವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾದಿ. ಎಕ್ಕೆ ಗಿಡವು ಬಿಸಿಲ ಧಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಯಾರೂ ನೀರು ಹಾಕದಿದ್ದರೂ ಹಸಿರಾಗಿ ನಗುತಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದು ದೌರ್ಬಲ್ಯವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದ ಸಂಕೇತ. ನೂರಾರು ಹೂವುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಸುಲಭ, ಆದರೆ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆ. ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯ ಬಡಿತವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಅದು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವವೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವಾಗ, ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕೊರಗುವುದು ಸರಿಯೇ? ನೀವು ಒಂಟಿಯಲ್ಲ, ನೀವು ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಶಕ್ತಿ. ನೀವು ಒಂಟಿಯಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೇ ಒಂದು ಜಗತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಮಹಾಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೌಪದಿಯ ವಸ್ತ್ರಾಭರಣ ಆಗುವಾಗ ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ವೀರರಾದ ಐವರು ಪತಿಯರು ಮೌನಕ್ಕೆ ಶರಣಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ದ್ರೌಪದಿಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆಗ ದ್ರೌಪದಿಯ ಆ ಒಂಟಿತನ ಕೇವಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳ ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತೇ ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಶೂನ್ಯ. ಯಾರು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ನೋವು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅಗ್ನಿಪುತ್ರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಅವತ್ತು ಅವಳು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೇ ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಕಿಡಿ ಹತ್ತಿತು. ದ್ರೌಪದಿಯ ಆ ಕಥೆ ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಒಂದೇ ಜಗತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದಾಗ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮಗೌರವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೀವೊಬ್ಬರೇ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಒಂಟಿ ಹೋರಾಟವೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ಮಹಾಜಯವನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಮತ್ತು ದಶರಥ ಮಹಾರಾಜನಿಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು ಆದರೆ ದಶರಥ ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಕೊನೆ ಉಸಿರೆಳೆಯುವಾಗ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕೂಡ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿದ್ದರು ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿ ಎಂಬ ಭಾವನೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಮ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಬಹಳ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಂತರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭುದ್ಧರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾವಣ ಬಂದು ಸೀತಾಮಾತೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನ ರೇಖೆಯು ಕೂಡ ಏನು ಮಾಡಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ರಾಮನ ದಿವ್ಯಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಕೂಡ ಏನು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ ಬಂದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ಎದುರಿಸುವಂತಹ ಕ್ಷಣ ಬರಬೇಕು. ಅವಾಗಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೋ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಬಂದು ಕಾಡುಗಲ್ಲಾದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶಿಲೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೆತ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ದಿನಮಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಲೆಯು ನಾವೇ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯು ನಾವೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ಹೇಗೆ ಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೆ ಕೆತ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ  ನಮ್ಮ ಹಣೆಬರಹವನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ಬರೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾವು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತವೆಯೋ ಅದು ನಾವಾಗುತ್ತೇವೆ ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಇವರು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಅನಾವಶ್ಯಕ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಒಬ್ಬರು ಇದ್ದೀವಲ್ಲ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಸಾಕು. ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಾವಿರಬೇಕು.  ಆ ಕುರಿಯ ಗುಂಪಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರು ನಾವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ, ಹುಲಿ,ಸಿಂಹ ಚಿರತೆಯಂತೆ ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ನಾವಿರೋಣ. ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೂಡ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬದುಕುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರಲಿ. ನಾವು ಯಾವತ್ತೂ ಒಂಟಿಯಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ದೇವನು  ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ. 

ಸೋಲು ಮತ್ತು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನೇ ಸೋಪಾನವಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಶಿಖರಕ್ಕೇರಿದ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಬದುಕು ನಮಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಾಠ. ಜಗತ್ತು ಗೆದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಆ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ಅವಮಾನದ ಕಥೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಧಕರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹವಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕಟು ಟೀಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ. ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಸಮಾಜ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಚ್ಚರೆಂದು ಕರೆದು ದೂರ ತಳ್ಳಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಈ ಒಂಟಿತನವೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಒಳಗಿನ ಧ್ವನಿ ಕೇಳಿಸತೊಡಗಿತು. ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದಾಗ ದಾರಿ ಕಾಣದಿದ್ದರೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಚಲ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿತ್ತು. ಹಸಿವು, ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೀತಿಪಾತ್ರರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ನೋವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಎದೆಗುಂದಿಸುವ ಬದಲು, ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿಸಿತು. ಸಾಧಕರು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಲು ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಸತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕನಸುಗಳು ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಕಾಡಿನ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಬೆಳಗುವ ದೀಪದಂತೆ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕಾಂಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಬೆಳಕು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಂಡಾಗ, ಅಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ದೂರ ತಳ್ಳಿದವರೇ ಇಂದು ಅವರ ನೆರಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಒಂಟಿತನವು ಶಾಪವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಂದು ತಪಸ್ಸು. ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುವ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದೇ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. 

ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆ ನೋವು ಥಾಮಸ್ ಎಡಿಸನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬದಲಾಗಿ, ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಲೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲವಷ್ಟೇ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಬಾರಿ ಸೋತರೂ ಛಲ ಬಿಡದೆ ಬಲ್ಬ್ ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದರು. ಇಂದು ಜಗತ್ತು ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಅಂದು ಎಡಿಸನ್ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ಅವಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬದಲಿಸಿದ ಅವರ ಅಚಲ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ. ಇದು ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬದಲಿಸಿದ ಅತೀ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜೀವನ ಪಾಠ.

ಜೀವನದ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಅತಿ ಹತ್ತಿರದವರು ಎನ್ನಿಸುವ ಅಣ್ಣ-ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಾಗಲಿ, ಹೆಂಡತಿ-ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಲಿ ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ದೂರಾದಾಗ ಅಥವಾ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಭಾರವಾಗುವುದು ಸಹಜ. ನನ್ನವರು ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಒಂಟಿತನ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಡತೊಡಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಜನರು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟರೂ ದೇವರು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕೈಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಹುಟ್ಟುವಾಗಲೂ ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ಬಂದೆವು, ಹೋಗುವಾಗಲೂ ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ, ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳು ಬದುಕಿನ ಪಾಠಗಳಷ್ಟೇ. ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ದೃಢವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, ಆ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ನೆನಪಿರಲಿ ನೀವು ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಲ್ಲ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆ ಸದಾ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಾವೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಲ್ಲ ದೇವರಿದ್ದಾನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಭಾವನೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು.
