- Every BMRDA property has a Khatha a document which is issued by BMRDA to the owner of the property . Earlier this document used to be a manual printed copy maintained in books which is now transformed online and popularly known as E-Khatha. In this document a unique ID known as Property ID is allocated for every BMRDA property . As of now its a 18 digit number . This number is needed when paying tax online
Steps to pay BMRDA property tax online
- Open BSK website using link bsk.karnataka.gov.in
- Select the option to register / login , which displays below page . Enter the registered mobile number which usually is the one registered when creating e-khata . Select the language
- Enter the One Time password received as SMS on registered mobile number
- On successful login below dashboard gets displayed
- Select the option "Pay Property Tax"
- On selecting the Pay Property Tax option , a webpage gets displayed to get your property details either by entering property ID or search based on District , Taluk , Gram panchayat and Village
- On entering or selecting the property , if any taxes are due to be paid , details will be displayed
- On selecting pay option , user will be redirected to the payment gateway page , on successful payment a receipt is generated which can be downloaded in printable format for future reference
- Payment receipts can be downloaded anytime using the "Download Receipt" option
