Ganesha temple , Kurudumale - weekend devotional destinations

In this post on weekend devotional destinations we cover Kurudumale Gamesha temple at Mulbagilu taluk in Karnataka about 120 kms from Bengaluru.

Temple has 2 sanctums ,  inner sanctum we noticed a big 6 to 7 feet Saligrama Ganesha idol  is consecrated. As per priest , idol is believed to be existing since thousands of years , belief is Trimurthis i.e Brahma , Vishnu , Maheshwara consecrated the idol.

Devotees believe performing pooja here is sure of getting their wishes fulfilled . On weekends many devotees from surrounding areas visit for darshan. Village fares are conducted every Sunday near the temple.

Government has taken over development of surrounding area . Opposite to the temple is a small hill where there are stop points created for recreation. Temple is well accessible with fair facilities for food nearby.

Temple is open for darshan from morning till evening on weekends and on weekdays its recommended to visit before 12 PM or later by evening between 6 to 7 PM. If you are planning a trip to Mulbagilu this is one unique spot to visit.
