Director Sanjay S. Puranic brings to the screen Kalave Mosagara, a romantic drama that attempts to dissect the emotional wreckage left behind by unresolved relationships. With a narrative that intertwines past and present, the film explores how love, when left incomplete, can echo into the future in unexpected ways. The story opens in a dimly lit bar where two strangers—Kittu (Bharath Sagar), a heartbroken man nursing his wounds, and Avinash (Shankar Murthy), a soontobe groom—strike up a conversation. As Kittu recounts his past romance with Sandhya (Yashaswini Ravindra), a music teacher, the night takes a surreal turn: Avinash realizes that Sandhya is his fiancée. What follows is a tangled emotional triangle where the past resurfaces with full force. Sandhya, caught between two men from different chapters of her life, must confront her own heart and make a choice that could redefine her future.

Bharath Sagar as Kittu delivers a sincere performance, portraying heartbreak with raw vulnerability. Yashaswini Ravindra as Sandhya is the emotional core of the film. Her portrayal of a woman torn between loyalty and longing is subtle yet impactful.  Shankar Murthy SR as Avinash brings calm gravitas, offering a grounded counterpoint to Kittu’s emotional turbulence. Kuri Prathap, Vijay Chendur, and Bank Janardhan provide comic relief and emotional texture in supporting roles. Sanjay S. Puranic’s direction is thoughtful, if occasionally uneven. He crafts a story that leans into emotional realism. Music by Lokesh K. is a highlight. Cinematography by Kranti Kumar Kondela uses warm tones and closeups to reflect the film’s introspective mood. Editing by Ritvik keeps the narrative mostly tight, though some scenes linger longer than necessary.

The film reminds us that relationships can be messy, cyclical, and unfinished. Sometimes, we must create our own closure rather than wait for it. Revisiting old wounds can offer clarity, not just pain. The emotional maturity shown by Avinash in the face of betrayal is a quiet lesson in grace.
