Beejadi beach , clear white sand beach for all ages

In our quest for clear white sand beaches on the coastal karnataka we came across Beejadi beach at Beejadi a village in Kundapur , Udupi district. We took the National Highway route from Kundapur to reach this spot,  the village roads are quite narrow, after covering 5 kms from the highway we reached the beach . Unlike other public beaches , this beach is less crowded.

 

 

Compared to other beaches we visited , this spot had a good white sand experience with waves touching max 2 to 3 feet even after covering 100 to 200 meters which makes it a ideal destination to enjoy the soothing waves for all ages. Children enjoy the waters , Sand games ,  Kite plays .  A good spot to enjoy the sunset in the evening. There are no refreshments nearby to this spot , so one has to carry sufficient supplies. Beach feels safe beyond sunset to enjoy the cool breeze , there are few home stays adjacent to the beach.
