Shiva leela , directed by Ashok Jayram, is a socially conscious Kannada drama that shines a spotlight on the struggles and resilience of transgender communities in Karnataka. Shetty and Samskruti Lakshman, Effective in supporting roles that highlight societal attitudes. Ensemble cast members contribute to the layered depiction of community life. Ashok Jayram wears multiple hats—story, screenplay, dialogues, choreography, and direction. His vision is ambitious, aiming to merge activism with cinema.  Dialogues are direct and impactful, often carrying the weight of lived experiences.  Music by Ramesh Krishna , is soulful and rooted in folk traditions, enhancing the film’s cultural resonance.
