Sri Subramanya Swamy temple , Vishweshwarapuram , Bangalore

Sri Subramanya Swamy temple , VV Puram , Bangalore

This is one of the oldest and famous temple in the city.  Lord Sri submranya is worshipped here and lot of devotees visit here . This is near VV Puram chat street . Opposite to this temple is Sri Swamy Ayappan temple which attracts the devotees.

During Bengaluru Karaga festive ,  lord's idol is taken in a procession which is very popular. This is very near to the center of the city . Best time to visit this place will be in the morning before 10:00 AM and evening after 18:00 hrs.

After  one week from famous KaDalekayi parishe event near Bull temple, idol of lord subramanya is taken on a silver chariot procession here.

Sri Ksethra Mukthi Naga Temple , Bangalore

It was a bright hot sunday when we visited the Mukthi Naga temple in the outskirts of Bangalore city .  After a long journey of 25kms from the city , our long desired wish is achieved !!

This place hosts a 30 feet Naga and Sri Subramanya Idol.

Temple gopuram , hall construction work is still in progress. Best time to visit this temple would be early in the morning or at evening. We had to sweat a lot at noon :(
